Walking along the lane and capturing qualities of the planting and feelings of the lyrical landscape was firstly done on location in a concertina sketchbook. This long scene was then translated into these panoramic paintings. Each with a different feel brought about by the different blocks of planting. Along the lane 2 explores aspects of the grassy banks and their topography and textural richness.
