Inspired by aspects of the close up views of the wild flora along the lane, as well as notable shapes, lines and textures. ‘Gems’ feels like an appropriate name for these small ‘jewel-like’ paintings. Although they can be purchased individually, they have essential evolved to form 4 pairs. With each pair focusing on either specific plantings or feelings walking along the lane.
